Djokovic has continued his dominant period at the top of the sport, which has also seen him recently break the ATP record for weeks at number one in the world rankings. This saw him break the record held by Roger Federer for 310 weeks, ranked as the number one player in the sport and it does not appear likely that he is going to drop from this position any time soon.

Djokovic is also coming off the back of yet another Grand slam title victory, which he also draws ever nearer to the all-time lead that is held by Federer and Nadal. The latter most likely to extend on his lead at the French Open, which he has dominated for an extended period of time.
The 33-year-old Serbian recently produced another stellar performance at the Australian Open, to win another title and his ninth in total. It also meant a third in succession, following his wins in 2019, 2020 and 2021. The 2021 was a special victory, as he had injury struggles in the opening period of the tournament, with many saying he is likely to be heading out. However, he battled through and it ultimately led to another title for the world number one.
Djokovic was taken five sets in the third round against T Fritz, having won the opening two sets, before the fight back from the American. Djokovic then produced a dominant fifth set and progressed through. Djokovic then again dropped a set in the fourth round and in the quarter-finals, with many believing he could be vulnerable for the title.
Djokovic then took on qualifier Aslan Karatsev in the semi-finals and produced an impressive performance to win easily in straight sets and he dropped just nine games in the process. The final was then another similar story against the Russian and world number four, Daniil Medvedev. It appeared to be an open final, with the pair around the same odds in the betting but it proved to be a very one-sided match with many fans using free bets welcome offer codes that are available. Djokovic showed his winning mentality and improved to win in straight sets, also dropping just nine games in the process. It was another victory and Djokovic is now going to be expected to take all the beating in the remaining Grand slams this season.
