Ryan Sweeting is having a break-out tournament in Washington, D.C. this week at the Legg Mason Tennis Classic.
The 23-year-old beat tour veteran James Blake 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the first round and Michael Llodra of France 6-4, 6-2 in the second round to win post his best result to date on the ATP World Tour.
The former Univ. of Florida standout is currently one of the many pros who train at the Saddlebrook Academy in Tampa, Fla., along with Blake, John Isner, Bob and Mike Bryan among others. Harry Cicma of World Tennis Television recently visited Saddlebrook and got a behind-the-scenes look at the training facilities from Howard Moore and spoke with Sweeting about his career and his training and practice sessions as seen in this clip:
